Health disclaimer

Scope of practice
Komplete Fitness provides personal training, physical conditioning, and online fitness programming. Our coach is not a physiotherapist, dietitian, or registered medical practitioner. We do not diagnose or treat injuries, prescribe diets for medical conditions, or provide medical advice. If your needs fall outside our professional scope, we will refer you to an appropriate allied health or medical professional.
General information, not individual advice
Any content published on the Komplete Fitness website, social media, or marketing materials is intended for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not individualised advice. Personalised programming is provided only to clients who have formally engaged our services and completed our health screening.
Medical clearance
Before commencing any new exercise program, it is your responsibility to ensure you are healthy enough to participate.
- You must complete our health screening accurately before your first session.
- If you have a history of heart disease, asthma, high blood pressure, joint or musculoskeletal issues, or are recovering from surgery, you may be required to obtain written medical clearance from your doctor before we can begin training.
Assumption of risk
Physical exercise carries an inherent risk of injury. By participating in our training programs — whether in person in Sippy Downs or remotely via online coaching — you acknowledge and accept these risks.
Online coaching specifically: because we are not physically present to observe your form during remote workouts, it is your responsibility to execute movements safely, scale exercises when necessary, and train in a safe environment.
Hard, not painful
Our training philosophy is that exercise should be challenging, but it should not cause acute pain. Muscle fatigue and next-day soreness are normal; joint pain or sharp, stabbing sensations are not. Stop any exercise immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, or shortness of breath, and tell your coach.
